ESB (Elastic Slider Bearing)

ESB-type seismic isolators, known for their high axial load-bearing capacity, are particularly suitable for structures subjected to significant vertical loads. In addition, they contribute to increasing the natural vibration period of the structure, thereby enhancing overall seismic isolation performance.

Since they may not independently provide sufficient recentring capability, they are often used in combination with other types of isolators such as LRB or HDR, forming hybrid systems that effectively meet this requirement.
