ATB (Anti-Tension Elements)

The vertical load-bearing capacity of isolators varies depending on the type and diameter of the isolator used. In the base isolation systems of slender and tall structures, the overturning effects that may occur during an earthquake can lead to additional tensile forces in some isolators.

The Anti-Tension Element (Anti-Tension) prevents these extra tensile forces that may develop in isolators, allowing for the optimization of the isolator diameter. This feature provides an effective and safe solution, particularly for high-rise structures.
